This Mild ale, a Melbourne brewed favourite until 1954, has been meticulously recreated to bring you a taste of the past. The nut brown mild has been reproduced using analysis of a surviving bottle of beer from John Hair & Sons, kindly donated by Ben Robey as well as historical research provided by Barry Thomas at Melbourne Historical Research Group , brewing ingredients of the time and the expertise of Morgan Brewmaster’s Simon Morgan. Almost identical to our flagship Covert except for using Saturated yeast in place of LAX and using Mosaic hops instead of Citra along with a light addition of Nelson Sauvin and Nectaron to balance out the grapefruit characteristics of the Mosaic. Delightfully easy drinking. Wiltshire
